Can anyone suggest memory techniques for me?
I am in my 40's and am doing my Bachelors Degree on line. I have a lot of short term memory problems. I have to read about 150 pages in a history book and answer a test of 20 questions. I have a hard time remembering what I read. I am highlighting some areas. I typed up all the questions I need answered in alphabetical order so I can try to find the answers easier, but I'm still having a hard time. I just hate reading boring stuff. Any techniques you can recommend?

I'm talking of mnemo techniques where you associate pictures to numbers. Like a wheel represents 0, a candle represents 1, a swan represents 2, etc.I know how to learn these as an adult, but are there any strategies adapted to children?
Hi i'm looking for memory techniques i can teach to my children aged 5 years and 9.?
it should be easy enough for them so they can apply that knowledge in class.thanks.george gwell my grade 1 child have a bit of a problem with the abc but its getting much better because of games suggested by guys on here 9 year old struggles with her maths multiplication etc . i'm looking for something that when they see what they can achieve would put the " wow" in there hope you can help.thanks

Memory techniques...?
There are memory techniques out there for remembering long lists and stuff like that but I really need to know how to use these techniques to remember different languages with tones in them. Like japanese, abiru can mean 4 or 5 different things and I can remember this no problem thanks to the Mnemonics but there is a big problem as I can only remember this to take and beer but it also means other things depending on which part you pronunce high and which part you pronunce low. Is there any way to remember it using the techniques??
